No matter how much I keep counting the things I lack,
I can’t get used to it including that person
I repeatedly take a roundabout route time and time again,
But when I approach, that person goes to a distant star
Even if they go hundreds of millions of light-years away,
I will “set a course!”
Even if I’m laughed at because it’s impossible
I’ll laugh right back
I trace my path in the constellation drawn by my hand
Because that bright star was shining for me on that painful day
I swear I will not cry again
That person is weeping
In reality, there is no such thing as a strong person
I know that weakness, it’s more dear to me than anyone else
A star is born, and life blooms from it
There may be nothing on my star,
But I will “start” from zero
I’ll gaze up at the sky I want to exist
And I’ll wake the wind
I trace that person’s path in the constellation drawn by their hand
Someone on that distant star laughs happily, and that’s fine
I’m sure I can see it shine
You can’t see it yourself?
That’s okay
Can you at least see me from where you are?
Countless stars are reflected in my eyes
In the vast galaxy, in that distant place…
The light reaches
I came to meet you from beyond the darkness
In this clear sky above a sea of sand
If you could hear this song,
Then it’s daybreak!
I trace my path in the constellation drawn by my hand
Because that bright star was shining for me on that painful day
I swear I will not cry again!
